The focus is on the great East German compositions of the 1970s by Franz Bartzsch, Wolfgang Scheffler, Michael Heubach, Holger Biege, Ulrich Swillms and Hansi Biebl. Not a nostalgia show, but the care of a high-quality and much-loved cultural heritage.

Manuel Schmid, the current singer of the legendary East German art rock band „Stern Combo Meißen“ and by now a considerable presence in the German-language music scene in his own right, also brings the keyboardist and saxophonist Marek Arnold into the project. Arnold is a fixture of the international progressive rock scene and has recorded albums together with Steve Hackett among others.

Dirk Zöllner is joined by his longtime partner André Gensicke, with whom he founded the band “Die Zöllner” in June 1988. Their creative collaboration has resulted in seventeen albums.
