Bands & Projects

Marek Arnold’s Artrock Project

Marek Arnold’s own solo project, released in 2023 after more than sixty albums with other bands: art rock and progressive metal with over forty international guest stars, from Derek Sherinian and Marco Minnemann to Jane Getter and Adam Holzman.

Artrock Project – The Band

Since 2025 the project has had a band of its own: friends and musical companions who bring the music of Toxic Smile, ssttgd, CYRIL and the Artrock Project together in one condensed, more intimate live set.

Manuel Schmid & Marek Arnold

The duo of Manuel Schmid – currently the singer of Stern Combo Meißen – and Marek Arnold moves between German-language art pop and art rock. Their albums and live shows pair songs that stay with you with demanding arrangements.

Toxic Smile

Marek Arnold’s career in bands began with Toxic Smile: the progressive metal group earned a major deal with BMG for the album „M.A.D.“ and a chart success in Korea. Up to 2018 the band released nine records held in high regard in the prog metal scene.

Passage

Passage stands for acoustic entertainment and easy listening with substance. Marek Arnold is part of the band’s unmistakable sound on saxophone and keyboards. Enjoy the difference!

Die Stiehlblüten

Die Stiehlblüten bring literature and music together into humorous programmes where the two meet. Marek Arnold shapes the sound on keyboards, saxophone and recorder. Performed in German.
