Marek Arnold

Marek Arnold is a saxophonist, keyboardist, clarinettist, composer and producer, and has long been a fixture of the international progressive rock and art rock scene. He became known as a member of the East German art rock institution Stern Combo Meißen, through his duo with Manuel Schmid, and with his own bands Toxic Smile, seven steps to the green door, CYRIL, Flaming Row and DAMANEK, as well as his „Artrock Project“, which has since grown into a band in its own right. Since 2024 he has also been part of the project „Die schönsten Balladen aus dem Land vor unserer Zeit“ as instrumentalist and producer, alongside Dirk Zöllner among others, and he produces and hosts the „Stone Prog Podcast“.
